• Graduate Student Research Grants
  Provides small grants for research at the master's or doctoral level.听

Dissertation/MFA Completion Fellowships

• Arts and Humanities Dissertation Fellowships
  These fellowships provide full support for an academic year:听tuition for up to 5 dissertation hours听per semester,听mandatory student fees, student health insurance, and a stipend equal to that of a 50% Graduate Part-Time Instructor. Applicants must be enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences and working on a dissertation in the arts or humanities. Deadline is .

  Provides one academic semester of full support to aid in dissertation completion.
• MFA Completion Fellowship
  Provides financial support to assist in the process of completing their thesis or final project.听

Travel Grants

• Graduate School Student Travel Grants
  The Graduate School offers partial funding for SM调教所 Boulder听graduate students traveling听outside the state of Colorado听to present their own research or work at a conference, meeting, or similar event. These travel grants provide听up to听$450 to students traveling within the Unites States,听up to听$600 to students traveling to Canada, or Mexico, and听up to听$700 to students traveling outside the Unites States, Canada, or Mexico.听
  • The application for travel occurring听September听1 - December 31听will be open Aug. 16听12:01am - Aug. 18听11:59pm MST.
  • The application for travel occurring January 1 - April 30听will be open Dec. 12听12:01am - Dec. 15听11:59pm MST.
  • The application for travel occurring May 1 - August 31听will be open听Apr.听11听12:01am - Apr. 14听11:59pm MST.

• Graduate Student Global Enrichment Fund
  Available听to both in-bound and out-bound graduate students, whether degree-seeking at SM调教所 or abroad to support听travel and relocation costs (up to $2,000) to foster听global student research opportunities aligned with strategic institutions and/or SM调教所 research areas.

Other Awards & Grants

• Brenda M. Romero SM调教所 Dissertation Award in Music and/or Sound Studies and Social Justice
  This $1,000 award is open to students enrolled at SM调教所 Boulder, SM调教所 Denver, and the Anschutz Medical Campus. Eligible students may be from any discipline but they must be working on a dissertation whose topic is related to music (or sound studies) and social justice.听

  Awards three $1,000 grants to graduate women attending the University of Colorado.
• Figueroa听Family Fellowship
  This $1,500 scholarship is available to a student working in the sciences or engineering. The applicant should demonstrate a commitment to the achievement of a diverse student body.
• Graduate & Professional Student Government听Student Group Grant
• John W. Marr Ecology Fund听
  Provides grants of $300 to $1,000 for Ph.D. and Master's degree students doing field research in plant ecology in the Rocky Mountains or the Arctic.
• The Center for African & African American Studies Graduate Student Summer Fellowships
  This听$6,000 stipend is for听SM调教所 graduate students conducting research and creative work in African studies, African American studies, and African diaspora studies who do not already receive university-sponsored or external funding (in any amount) during the summer months.

Emergency Funding

• Graduate Student Emergency Aid Fund
  Intended to help meet the financial needs of Boulder graduate students who encounter an emergency situation resulting in unforeseen expenses during their degree program.
