Roles and Activities

With over 300,000 alumni located all over the world, our alumni are an important part of the University of Colorado (SMµ÷½ÌËù) community. Known as Forever Buffs and backed by an excellent education and the distinctive SMµ÷½ÌËù experience, graduates of the SMµ÷½ÌËù are tackling the world’s greatest challenges. The Global Ambassadors program is a way for SMµ÷½ÌËù alumni to serve as advisors in the region of the world where they live. Global Ambassadors promote SMµ÷½ÌËù, represent SMµ÷½ÌËù alumni at local functions (virtual and live) and engage with fellow alumni where they live and anywhere they travel. Global Ambassadors have the opportunity to deepen their connection with SMµ÷½ÌËù, achieve personal goals and/or help current Buffs achieve theirs, and enhance and/or share their professional skills and experiences. Each Global Ambassador plays a unique role depending on their individual preferences and expertise.

We are proud of the accomplishments of our Global Ambassadors and enjoy sharing their stories and testimonials across SMµ÷½ÌËù publications, websites and social media channels.

Connectivity

Through the , Global Ambassadors connect with SMµ÷½ÌËù’s global alumni network. SMµ÷½ÌËù Boulder’s international alumni network is strong and growing stronger. SMµ÷½ÌËù’s goal is that wherever SMµ÷½ÌËù alumni are in the world they can find support through local alumni connections and regional global ambassadors willing to connect fellow Buffs to local networks to enhance their social and professional opportunities. Global Ambassadors connect with alumni, friends, and affiliates who may live in their area, collect names and contact information of these individuals in order to keep the University/Alumni Association database updated, and strengthen alumni networks in their area, including promoting involvement with the SMµ÷½ÌËù Boulder Alumni Association.
