In recent days, the campus community engaged in a visit by Tarana Burke,听founder of the 鈥榤e too.鈥� Movement, who was brought to SM调教所 Boulder by the student-led Cultural Events Board.
Folks also participated in some self-care, a student yoga class made extra fun with baby goats.
Stewards of sustainability, who've implemented innovative green practices at SM调教所 Boulder, were recognized with awards at the Campus Sustainability Summit.
And university and athletics leaders spoke to Professor Roger Pielke Jr.鈥檚 sports governance class about their roles at SM调教所 Boulder, as well as key issues in college athletics, including health and wellness initiatives, compensation for student-athletes and how sports benefit the entire university. The panel included Chancellor Phil DiStefano, who serves on the NCAA Board of Governors and chairs the Pac-12 Conference CEO group.听
DiStefano also spoke to a crowd at the听4th Annual Aerospace & STEM Summit, which took place in Denver.
