In the Office of Faculty Affairs, Mona El Helbawy is the Faculty Fellow with responsibility for faculty mentoring and development. Alongside Michaele Ferguson, she is responsible for overseeing the Across SM调教所 Mentoring Center (ASM调教所Ment), which provides opportunities for peer mentoring, one-on-one mentoring, and coaching to all SM调教所 faculty.听听
Mona is Teaching Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science. Prior to joining SM调教所 Boulder, she taught at Colorado School of Mines, California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, the College of New Jersey, and York College of Pennsylvania. She also taught abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Beijing University of Chemical Technology in Beijing, and University of Ha鈥檌l in Saudi Arabia. She received her master鈥檚 degree in computer science and PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering from the SM调教所. Her recent research focuses on wireless communications, wireless sensor networks, analog and digital electronics, and engineering education.听
