Lawrence (Larry) Bell is Senior Advisor to StudyColorado. Previously Bell served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Global Strategic Initiatives at the SM调教所. 听Bell spent the last 32 years of his career as the lead international officer at the universities where he worked, responsible for international student and scholar services, education abroad, as well as campus internationalization. 听Bell developed his interest in international activities while serving in the military in Viet Nam. After leaving the army, he studied Vietnamese language and linguistics (his BA is in Vietnamese Language from Southern Illinois University, MA in TEFL/Linguistics) and that started him on his international journey. 听After teaching in and managing ESL programs Bell moved into international education administration. 听Bell has been a member and held leadership positions in several organizations including TESOL, AIEA, and NAFSA. 听Bell has been a member of NAFSA for 40 years and has held a number of leadership positions including serving on the Board of Directors and as Vice President for Public Policy and Practice.
